On behalf of Bavarian Environment Minister Thorsten Glauber, Lord Mayor Sebastian Remelé, together with the city's environmental officer Jan von Lackum, recently presented GKS-Gemeinschaftskraftwerk Schweinfurt GmbH with the certificate of participation in the Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact.
GKS has been a participant in the environmental and climate pact since 2017. Now the membership has been extended for a second time until 2026. "We try to save energy and reduce CO2 emissions in all areas. We attach great importance to conserving resources and recycling management," says Dr Marcel Strätz, Head of Organization at GKS.
