Almost 100 employees work for our company. Whether they work in one of our five shift groups, at the gate, in our workshops, in the laboratory or in administration - together we take on the challenge of power plants and are committed to the reliable, safe and efficient operation of our technical systems.

With a power plant as a workplace, we offer a complex and varied field of activity. The technical and environmentally friendly further development of our plants is strongly promoted operationally. This is accompanied by intensive association work and participation in research and development projects.

Many of our employees have been working for our company for many years, many even since the construction phase. Enough time, therefore, for a well-coordinated team to develop, into which new colleagues are always warmly welcomed.

What our employees say

I was at the first refuse fire 30 years ago and have never regretted being at GKS. Today I am a shift supervisor and coordinate the operation of the power plant facilities, especially during the late and night shifts and at weekends. Together with my shift group, we solve varied tasks in an interesting, future-proof, energetic team. For me, GKS stands for "Gemeinsam Kann Super" or "Große und kleine Spezialisten"!

Through my work at GKS, I am firmly convinced that I can make Schweinfurt greener and more sustainable. The corporate identity is reflected in the GKS guidelines, such as environmental protection and sustainability. This green awareness is a daily companion and strengthens motivation in the work we do. At GKS, we have the opportunity to put the energy revolution into practice. The range of tasks as a shift electrician is very varied. It is therefore important to be independent, goal-oriented and flexible. The varied range of tasks means that you are challenged and encouraged every day. My motivation for working at GKS is my strong interest in complex technical systems, repairing them with a dynamic team and solving problems.
